Congratulations to Michelle Bevels, NP for being named as the July 2024 NES Provider Spotlight! Michelle serves as an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner at Coosa Valley Medical Center in Sylacauga, Alabama at NES Health.
Here’s a bit about Michelle in her own words:
“I am a mother of six three girls and three stepsons. My husband of 23 years and I are very blessed with 12 grandchildren , 2 great grandchildren and 2 more grandchildren who arrive this summer. They keep us very busy. I graduated with my ADN in 2006 and with my MSN FNP-C in 2011 from Samford College. I have worked as a nurse practitioner in the ER at Coosa Valley Medical Center sine Nov. 11, 2018. I briefly left for about 11 months due to a company change from 2017 but returned in early 2018. I love my job the people I work with and my patients. The skills I think everyone should work on is good bedside manner, to be professional, and to always stay knowledgeable with new medicines, procedures and techniques . One of the perks I like is that everyone is easy to talk to at NES and they are very helpful. The paid holidays are also a plus when you are missing family time to be at work.”
