Congratulations to Pallavi Sunkavalli, MD for being named as the August 2024 NES Provider Spotlight! Dr. Sunkavalli serves as our Emergency Medicine Site Medical Director at Coosa Valley Medical Center in Sylacauga, Alabama.
Here’s a bit about Dr. Sunkavalli in her own words:
“I am a board-certified internal medicine physician, originally a foreign graduate, with 12 years of experience practicing emergency medicine. As a mother of an 11-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl, I have made Alabama my home for the past 18 years. In my free time, I enjoy kayaking, hiking, snowboarding , organizing and most recent growing vegetables.
Currently, I serve as the Site Medical Director at one of NES’s Alabama locations. I vividly remember the day I signed my contract with NES, receiving numerous welcoming calls from various Site Medical Directors. It was a moment of pure joy and made me feel instantly at home within the organization. The ease with which I’ve been able to connect with anyone within NES is a testament to the company’s supportive environment. Starting as a first-time Medical Director was made seamless by the tremendous guidance and encouragement I received from NES, which is why I am committed to staying with the organization.
One of my favorite perks of working with NES is the annual meetings held in different locations across the U.S. These gatherings are not only educational but also provide an opportunity to forge lasting connections while having fun.
I believe it’s crucial for everyone to know how to manage stress and to appreciate others’ perspectives.”
