About the Hospital

• A 64-bed community hospital.
• Uses Epic EMR with Dragon Dictation for efficient documentation and patient care.

Coverage Areas Include

• Ultrasound and ED bedside Ultrasound
• Radiology (in-house during the day, tele at night)
• Psychiatry
• Anesthesia
• 3-bed ICU
• Pulmonary
• Line Service
• Orthopedics
• Hospitalist
• General Surgery
• Cardiology
• Neurology

Program Details and Operational Hours

• 20-bed Emergency Department, inclusive of a 6-bed fast track unit that manages around 19,000 ED visits annually.
• Offers 12-hour physician shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a) and a 10-hour APP shift (12p-10p) for flexible scheduling.

Candidate Qualifications

• Active Connecticut license or the ability to secure unrestricted state license.
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active certifications in ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS.
