NES Health is currently seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for our practice at PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center in Ketchikan, Alaska.

About the Hospital

• A 25-bed community hospital leveraging EPIC EMR for efficient patient data management.
• Proudly recognized as a Level IV Trauma Center.

Coverage Areas Include

• Radiology
• Pediatrics
• Anesthesiology
• Ultrasound
• OB/GYN
• Hospitalist services
• A 6-bed ICU

Program Details and Operational Hours

• An 8-bed Emergency Department (ED) managing around 7,500 annual visits.
• 15% admission rate from the ED.
• Both EM and HM physicians respond to in-house codes, and ED may sometimes perform procedures.
• Flexible 12- or 24-hour shifts.

Candidate Qualifications

• Active Alaska license or the ability to attain an unrestricted state license.
• Must be BE/BC in Emergency Medicine.
• Active certifications in ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS.
