NES Health is seeking a qualified Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our practice at Coosa Valley Medical Center located in Sylacauga, Alabama.

About the Hospital

• 168 Bed Community Hospital using CPSI EMR for streamlined patient data management.

Coverage Areas Include

• Radiology
• Anesthesiology
• Ultrasound
• OB/Gyn
• ENT
• Cardiology
• Neurology
• An ICU with a 10-bed unit

Program Details and Operational Hours

• Features a 14-bed Emergency Department (ED) catering to 21,000 annual visits.
• 7% admission rate from ED.
• ED physicians also respond to floor codes.
• Offers 12-hour physician shifts (6a-6p, 6p-6a) and 12-hour APP shifts (11a-11p).

Candidate Qualifications 

• Active Alabama license or the ability to attain an unrestricted state license.
• Candidates must be BE/BC PA or FNP.
• Active ATLS, ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications required.
