About the Hospital

• A dynamic 43-bed community hospital delivering comprehensive care.
• Recognized as a Level III Trauma Center, ensuring prompt and effective treatment.
• Employs Meditech and Electronic T EMR for efficient patient care management.

Coverage Areas Include

• Radiology (in-house during the day, tele at night)
• Interventional Radiology
• Pediatrics
• Anesthesiology
• Ultrasound
• OB-GYN
• Hospitalist services
• ENT
• Cardiology
• A 6-bed ICU

Program Details and Operational Hours

• Efficiently run 12-bed Emergency Department with 17,000 annual visits.
• ED physicians actively respond to floor codes.
• ED APPs are directly employed by the hospital for seamless care integration.
• Flexible scheduling with 12-hour shifts from 6:30a-6:30p and 6:30p-6:30a.
• ED admission rate stands at 10%.

Candidate Qualifications

• Active Alabama license or the ability to obtain an unrestricted state license.
• Candidates must be BE/BC in EM, IM, or FM.
• Holds active certifications in ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS.
